This
is the official web site of "DO IT YOURSELF HUNTER"
and the New DO IT YOURSELF HUNTER CAMO IN CHAMELEON PATTERN!
I have always wanted to make a living in the hunting business.
I created the company, Do It Yourself Hunter. We started out
making videos, eventually got a show on the Outdoor Channel.
We ran into problems with sponsorship funding our show. We
realized that we needed a hunting product. It is just as easy
to promote your own products as it is someone else's.
I'm an avid hunter. I have worn several different camos.
I had the opportunity to wear the Chameleon Camo in the field
for two years in several different parts of the country. I
liked it so much that when I had the opportunity, I bought
the copyrights to the pattern. I believe in it so much we
put our name on it.
Introducing Do It Yourself Hunter Brand Camo - in the
Chameleon Pattern! After seeing this camo in the field
and the success we had with it, we purchased the copyrights
to the pattern. We believe this camo pattern
is versital and it is not just for a certain region of the
country. This pattern will work in any part of the country.
Its neutral colors and subtle pattern respond naturally to
light and shadow.
On this web site you'll find the Avid Hunter's Bulletin Board.
It provides information that we know about hunting and hunting
places as well as a place for other avid hunters to post notes
about good public hunts. Also on our website we have links
to all fifty State's Game and Fish Department sites which
provides you access to hunting regulations in each state.
In
2003 we had our own show on the Outdoor Channel. We plan to
get back in the video business in the near future.
On this web site we want to encourage the avid hunter who
is successful in his/her local area to go out and explore
new territory. Using our videos, you can learn to hunt public
land, find isolated areas, and be successful. The best hunter
in the world can't bag a big deer if there is not a big deer
there. The success of taking quality animals on public land
gives me the satisfaction of knowing that I outhunted not
just the animal but other hunters that had the same opportunity
that I had to get that animal. This is what makes an AVID
HUNTER. The more effort you put into something, the more you
get out of it.
We like to do it all ourselves. We are Avid Hunters, not just
shooters.
